The Carseldine Christmas Twilight Markets is the perfect place to deck the halls with local cheer in the lead-up to the holiday season.
Gather your friends and family for a magical evening filled with festive delights when the eats, beats and market treats return for another season of celebration on Saturday, 23 November, from 4pm to 10pm.
Market coordinator Mark Power said Goodwill Projects was proud to bring the Carseldine Christmas Twilight Markets to life, providing a platform for over 200 local vendors, entertainers and foodies.
“It’s a chance to celebrate the incredible small businesses in our community, while also creating local jobs and hosting a fun event that attracts thousands of visitors to the area,” Mark said. “We’re thrilled to showcase the best of south-east Queensland and spread festive cheer, all while supporting the local economy.”
Unique Gifts and Festive Treats Await
Shoppers will have the opportunity to find the perfect Christmas gift or stocking stuffer among an array of local artisan stalls. Browse unique offerings like natural felted toys from Dashdu, handmade soy candles from Heavens Candles and themed polymer clay earrings from Admae Accessories. There will also be plushies with personality from See Be Me, as well as scented gifts and inspirational art and photo frames from local seller Zensational Gifts.
For those feeling hungry, the food trucks will serve up a sleigh-full of tasty treats. Savour traditional Japanese charcoal chicken from Yakitori KIKU, indulge in authentic paella from the Spanish Paellaman or delight in a Christmas-themed biscotti from Koula’s Greek Delicacies. Festive refreshments will be available from the pop-up bar Stone and Wood, ensuring a merry toast to the season.
Kids will get into the holiday spirit with fun activities and photo opportunities with Santa while enjoying roaming performers like Santa’s bubble elf and towering stilt walkers. Live music will add to the magical atmosphere.
The Carseldine Christmas Twilight Markets are located at 133 Dorville Road, Carseldine. Entry is $3 at the gate, with children aged 12 and under free. Free on-site parking is available.
