Full disclosure, this is our local! Dine inside or out at the elegant Tosakan Thai Chermside Restaurant. Tosakan Thai offers contemporary Thai dining bursting with exotic flavour. Almost any item on their menu can be made gluten free or vegetarian, and you get to choose the spice level! We recommend the Massamun Beef Curry.
Celebrating a special occasion? Why not order one of their banquets and dine like royalty. And you can BYO for a small corkage fee.

Kinn+Derm
Kinn+Derm, meaning Eat & Drink has to be the coolest, funkiest Thai restaurant in Chermside. If Hollywood/Jungle fusion was a thing, this Thai restaurant has nailed it.

At Kinn+Derm (also known as Kinn Thai) choose to dine outside in the pedestrian-only dining area or inside in the glow of a brightly coloured Neon-lit canopy and fun funky décor. There’s are walls covered in Marvel and Disney plushies, retro Thai movie posters, and trailing tropical greenery cascades from the ceiling.
This Thai restaurant doesn’t only offer exquisitely fine dining. Here you get the full date night/party night experience with an extensive cocktail and mocktail menu and vibrant atmosphere.
Desserts, set menus, a dedicated kids’ menu, gluten free and vegetarian options are all available. This isn’t just dining – it’s an event!

AJ Thai Fusion
AJ Thai Fusion offers a casual dining experience in their quaint and unassuming restaurant, and everyone agrees the food here is divine! This restaurant scores the highest marks in our taste test, with sticky rice with taro being the ultimate must-try recommendation for something new.
The staff here are super friendly and go out of their way to accommodate dietary requirements. The food is made fresh on site, meaning you have full control over the spice level too!

Siri Thai Alderley
Decorated in the traditional Thai fashion, Siri Thai Alderley offers a warm welcome in a quiet, relaxing atmosphere.
There is seating inside and out, and an extensive menu that includes lunchtime specials. Siri Thai is BYO if you like to enjoy a wine or a Singha beer with your meal.
This restaurant is highly rated for quality food and there is parking right outside. Give the Duck and Lychee Curry and Pineapple Fried Rice a go for something sweet and different.
