Shop local this festive season at the Burnie Brae Christmas Market, set to bring together artisans, vendors and community members.
The popular event will return to the Burnie Brae Hall in Chermside on Saturday, 16 November.
Adriana Braid, Burnie Brae Events Coordinator, said the Christmas Market was a wonderful opportunity to support local artists and craftspeople.
“With a whopping 60 exhibitors you’ll have a great variety of gifts to choose from,” Adriana said. “No need to worry about the weather – our venue is air conditioned and undercover. We can’t wait to see everyone there!”
A Day of Festive Fun and Unique Finds
This year’s market promises a diverse selection of unique, handcrafted items, including homewares, fashion, jewellery, accessories, gourmet treats, bath and body products, Christmas decorations, wooden toys and much more.
As visitors shop, they can enjoy live music and indulge in offerings from various coffee and food stalls. There will also be a face painting station to entertain the little ones.
Local attendee Rosana said she appreciated the artists at the markets, who poured their souls into their craft, and the community who supported them.
“It’s moments like these that remind me of the beauty and magic that can be found when we come together with open hearts and minds,” Rosana said. “Here’s to many more market adventures filled with love, laughter, and handmade treasures!”
