Gather your friends for a morning of fabulous fun at bottomless drag brunch, Spill the Morning Tea.

Balls OUT Bingo Productions will bring the glitz and glamour to Kedron-Wavell on Sunday, 4 August with four of Brisbane’s premier drag performers, including award-winning cabaret star Candy Surprise.

Owner of Balls OUT Bingo Productions, Jan Thwaites, said attendees could expect a morning of high-quality entertainment, delicious food and refreshing beverages.

“As we always say to anyone that attends our events, leave your troubles at the door and just have fun,” Jan said. “Life is too short not to enjoy it and have a little bit of naughty fun with your friends on a Sunday morning.

“There will be opportunities for members of the audience to join Candy Surprise and the other Queens on stage with our game show part of the brunch. Audience members will be chosen at random and will go head-to-head against each other in some very funny games and win prizes if they come out on top. Don’t worry, though, the games won’t be too physical for a Sunday morning!”

The Queens will also mingle with the audience, providing plenty of banter and laughs. Along with Candy Surprise, guests can look forward to performances from HOvanna Crown, Penelope Cruises and Katya Lou-King.

Candy said it was a thrilling experience to perform in front of a lively audience.

“When I’m on stage singing my songs at events like Spill the Morning Tea Drag Brunch, I feel an incredible rush of energy and joy,” Candy said. “What I enjoy most about performing at events like the brunch is the opportunity to connect with people through my songs and performances. The energy and excitement in the room are infectious and there’s nothing quite like the feeling of making people smile, laugh and dance along with me.”

Guests will be greeted with a bubbly drink on arrival and treated to a selection of brunch options, such as smoked salmon rolls, mixed quiches, mushroom arancini, lemon meringue tartlets and macarons. A two-and-a-half-hour drinks package includes white sangria, mimosa, tap beer, soft drinks and a tea and coffee station.

Those with dietary requirements are asked to contact the events team on 3350 0916 before purchasing tickets.

Tickets start at $80 for members (excluding booking fee). To book go to bit.ly/kwdragbrunch
