In some exciting news, the Kedron-Wavell RSL Women’s Auxiliary have been putting together a recipe book which they are hoping will give enjoyment to lots of people. The idea came after sharing their recipes with The Chermside Guide and the great response they received from the community.

The recipe book, sharing many of the Women’s Auxiliary’s favourite recipes, will be sold to raise important funds for the families of all the services the ladies support.

Carmel Gould OAM, president of the Women’s Auxiliary said, “Each recipe is shared with thanks to friends and family and made with lots of love.

“The ladies have enjoyed sharing their recipes with readers of the Chermside Guide,” she said, “and we are thankful to Jodie and the team for the opportunity.”

Christmas Stall and Recipe Book Launch

With over 60 pages of cherished recipes, make sure you get your copy before they are all gone! Copies will be available for sale at the annual Christmas stall which will be held on Wednesday 28 November between 10am and 3pm at Kedron-Wavell.

Along with the inaugural recipe book, the Christmas stall will also have loads of Christmas goodies for sale, from home made hand towels, Christmas stockings, jams and preserves, plants and of course baked goods.
