Bundle up for a festive winter event featuring European charm, gourmet delights and all-ages excitement.
On Saturday, 14 June, enjoy an evening of enchantment at the Carseldine Wintertide Wonderland Twilight Market. With over 200 unique stalls, the Goodwill Projects market promises to be a highlight of the winter calendar.
Among the vendors is Sharon Griffiths, owner and creator of DOUBLESCENT, a family business founded in 2019 and based locally in Morayfield, as well as the Mornington Peninsula in Melbourne.
“Our mission is to provide exceptional quality handmade candles and fragrances that are affordable so our customers can enjoy them every day,” Sharon said.
DOUBLESCENT will showcase their range of luxury handmade pure coco-soy candles, reed diffusers, sprays and designer dupe perfumes.
In addition to her regular Saturday spot at the Carseldine Farmers Market, Sharon said she loved the Winter Wonderland Market because there was something for everyone.
“It’s a special night out for the whole family with great food, roving entertainers, live music all evening and market stalls with merchandise to suit every age,” she said.
Local Tastes, Live Music and Winter Charm
Food lovers can look forward to an exciting selection, including German sausages from Best of the Wurst, smoky beef brisket from Kaysers Smoke Train and dessert delights from Choco Bliss.
For those seeking a refreshing beverage, Gary Hagen, founder of Ibis Brewing Company in Brendale, will be offering samples of Bin Juice, a low-sugar, non-alcoholic soda made with real fruit juice and native Australian ingredients.

Visitors can also unwind at the Swiss-Alps Pop-Up Bar, enjoying traditional Glühwein (mulled wine) to ward off the winter chill. Two live music stages plus roving stilt walkers and hilarious characters will keep the crowd buzzing throughout the evening.
