A celebration of food, music and community spirit will add a little salsa to your Saturday at this month’s Nundah by Night Fiesta.

Set for 31 May at the Nundah Farmers Markets on Station Street, the twilight market promises a lively atmosphere with a colourful fiesta theme.

Market coordinator Mark Power said the market brings together over 200 local vendors, entertainers and South East Queensland’s best foodies, creating a unique experience for everyone.

“It’s not just an opportunity to support and celebrate local businesses, but also a chance to enjoy a variety of offerings – from gourmet street food to handmade goods and artisan crafts,” he said. “The market also provides an incubator for exciting local businesses, while providing a fun, family-friendly event with terrific bars and a brilliant lineup of artists.

“Nundah Twilight Market showcases Brisbane’s top talent in fashion, handmade arts, designs, food and more. Set in a rustic, undercover suburb with cosy bars, it’s the perfect spot to unwind with friends and enjoy the hottest live entertainment.

“We’ve got a huge lineup of gourmet street food from across the east coast – this is a night you won’t want to miss.”

Live Music, Mulled Wine and Market Vibes

Some culinary highlights set to have marketgoers’ mouths watering include warm and crispy churros from The Churro Hub, taco rice bowls from Okinawa Taco Brothers and tender brisket and pulled pork from Smoke & Co.

The Nundah by Night Fiesta Pop-Up Bar will be pouring local brews and serving the markets’ famous Glühwein, a top-secret mulled wine recipe that has been perfected over five years.

Entertainment for the evening will feature kids’ activities, roaming performers and live music across two stages, including a performance by local band Trace.

With over two decades in the Brisbane music scene, Trace has opened for acts such as Daryl Braithwaite and Jon Stevens.

Seven Heaslip, Trace’s manager/musical director and guitarist, said the band mixes up funky dance numbers, old-school soul and pop and rock classics, so there was something for everyone in their vast repertoire of hits.

“Trace have played at many twilight markets the past couple of years at various surrounding suburbs of Brisbane and look forward to entertaining everyone at the upcoming Nundah Twilight Market, which will be ‘fiesta’ themed,” Seven said.

Entry is $3.
