Stafford locals can expect a lively evening of community connection and entertainment this month at the Salvation Army Stafford Twilight Market.
Returning for its third year on Friday, 5 September, the much-loved market promises all the elements that have made it such a success in the past.
The Salvation Army Stafford Corps Admin Assistant, Russell Hung, said the event would showcase the services available at their site.
“Our Twilight Market is an opportunity for us to promote the services available at our Stafford site, including the Family Store, but also groups and services offered by the Corps (think ‘Parish’) and the Salvation Army more widely,” Russell said.
The event was originally inspired by Family Store manager Camille Kaukereit, who saw it as a way to showcase The Salvation Army Stafford more broadly. Since then, it has grown into a popular annual tradition.
Food, Music, and Community Spirit
This year’s event will feature an array of food and coffee trucks, local craft stalls, engaging displays, and live music by The Stafford Corps Band, with an additional performance from a local busker.
Bargain hunters won’t want to miss the Family Store’s special sale, which includes half-price items across the board and a spotlight on high-end designer pieces.
Proceeds from the event will support the ongoing work of The Salvation Army Stafford Corps, helping to fund its many community-focused initiatives.
Russell said the market was “fun and informative” and encouraged everyone to come along.
“We’d love to meet you and help you to feel comfortable here,” he said.
