Ladies’ Night at the Nest is returning this year with a Christmas in July theme.
Hosted by Zillmere Eagles Australian Football Club, the event has been running in different forms over the past five years and is open to the public.
Khesanh Brock, Women’s and Youth Girls coordinator at Zillmere Eagles Australian Football Club, said the event would be a night for ladies to “let down their hair, get their dancing shoes on and have a great night out with their friends”.
“Our main activities are singing, dancing and catching up,” she said.
Festive Fun and Community Connection
“It’s the ultimate girls’ night out, and this year we are getting a little festive. We’ve capped it to 80 ladies to keep it fun, safe and the best part is you’ll be in bed before midnight.”
Tickets are $65 and include a drink on arrival, a grazing station, entertainment and a late-night snack. Drink options include champagne, wine, pre-mixed and non-alcoholic beverages.
“We’ve been hosting ladies nights in different formats, such as lunches, speaking panels, karaoke nights and dance parties,” Khesanh said.
“The ladies of the club and their friends have loved them, and they get more popular each year. This will be our first themed one, which is Christmas in July.
“As the club is growing, we want to foster the relationship we have with the wider community.”
