Young adventurers have more to discover at Macaranga Crescent Park in Carseldine, with upgraded playground equipment and nature-play spaces.

The popular park on Lacey Road has been revitalised as part of Brisbane City Council’s plans to enhance community spaces, and now features a variety of nature-based playground facilities designed to encourage outdoor play and exploration.

Lord Mayor Adrian Schrinner said Macaranga Crescent Park had been given a fresh new look, making it an even better spot for locals to enjoy Brisbane’s incredible outdoor lifestyle with family and friends.

“The upgraded park includes better picnic areas, new play equipment and nature play features woven into the existing trees and gardens,” Cr Schrinner said.

New Features for Families

The new equipment includes climbing features, slides, and connecting bridges, with nature-play discovery elements, stepping stones, logs, balance beams and low-height ropes. The park revamp also includes a nature trail and nature-based artworks.

Bracken Ridge Ward Councillor Sandy Landers said residents now had a beautiful place to play, picnic and explore right on their doorstep, thanks to Council’s Deliver New Parks for Brisbane program.

“We know how much locals love their parks and this upgrade at Macaranga Crescent Park will make it an even better spot for Carseldine families,” she said.
