Brisbane’s northside is gearing up for 2026 with New Year’s Eve celebrations to suit everyone – from family fun to late-night parties.
At Kedron-Wavell, the NYE Balls Out Bingo Party promises a night of laughter and entertainment featuring live vocals from Candy Surprise.
“When I’m on stage singing my songs at the New Year’s Eve Show, I feel an incredible rush of energy and joy,” Candy said. “It’s a thrilling experience to bring my music to life in front of a lively audience.
“What I enjoy most about performing at events like New Year’s Eve is the opportunity to connect with people through my songs and performances. The energy and excitement in the room are infectious, and there’s nothing quite like the feeling of making people smile, laugh, and dance along with me.”
The event features audience games, prizes, special guests, a midnight balloon drop, and Candy’s t-shirt cannon, with DJ Jan keeping the beats flowing.
Running from 8.30pm to 12.30am, tickets start at $35. Get your tickets here.
At Aspley Hornets, the celebrations are taking over both indoors and outside the club.
The outdoor event, running from 4pm to 8.30pm, will feature food trucks, bars, rides, face painting and fireworks.
Marketing Coordinator Maddy Young said Hornets was the premier spot for family-friendly fireworks on Brisbane’s northside.
“Join us for an unforgettable New Year’s Eve celebration filled with great food, entertainment, and atmosphere,” Maddy said. “Bring the whole family and enjoy a relaxed evening of fun before counting down to the fireworks at 8pm.”
Inside, a Wild West theme will set the tone for the night, with the bistro offering western-themed specials. Brendan Schmick will perform from 3.30pm to 7.30pm, followed by Fat Chance from 8.30pm until late. Bookings are limited, so call 3263 5522 to secure a spot with a $20 deposit.
