Queensland-born singer-songwriter Rick Price will return to the local stage this month as part of his latest national tour.
The award-winning Australian musician will perform a stripped-back acoustic show at Royal Quarters in Nundah on Saturday, 14 November, to celebrate his latest single, Call on Me.
Rick said he loved sharing new songs with the audience and revisiting the favourites.
“Even after many years in the music industry, I still love being on stage and sharing music and stories and connecting with the audience,” he said.
He said he enjoyed performing in intimate settings like Royal Quarters because of the “personal, up-close connection with the audience”.
Classic Hits, Nostalgic Albums, and Intimate Performance Venue
“It’s a wonderful and unique experience I always enjoy,” he said.
The concert will feature some of Rick’s best-known songs, including Heaven Knows and Not a Day Goes By, alongside newer material from his 12th studio album Hometown.
Rick said the album was a love letter to Beaudesert, where he grew up and went to school.
“I have many wonderful memories of my childhood growing up and performing with my family at the local dance halls around the Beaudesert area,” he said. “It was magic and I’ve written many songs about it.”
Rick’s career spans more than three decades and includes gold and platinum records and multiple music industry awards. He currently lives in Nashville, Tennessee.
Tickets are $44.90 (excluding transaction fees).
