Barktoberfest is back at Carseldine Markets this month, promising to make tails wag and paws dance with excitement.
Market coordinator Mark Power said the event was a fantastic way to connect with vendors, the community and man’s best friend.
“Now in its 8th year, Barktoberfest has become more than just a celebration for dog lovers – it’s a great opportunity for the community to come together and support local businesses,” Mark said.
“With over 200 stalls featuring specialty dog vendors, unique artisan finds and South East Queensland’s top foodies, the event continues to grow bigger and better every year, bringing even more excitement to the local area.
Celebrate Canine Community at Barktoberfest
“This year, we’re welcoming back the Animal Welfare League Queensland, who will be running a hydration station along with raffles and competitions to raise awareness and funds for animals in need.”
The event will also see the return of the Pawparazzi Competition, with five categories to flaunt your pup’s best poses, the Strike A Paws Fashion Parade and the brand-new Pawesome Performer Competition to show off your dog’s best tricks.
Dog behaviour and obedience trainers One with the Dog will also be on hand, ensuring the event will be the furriest and most fun in town.
