Winter festivities will return to Brisbane’s northside next month when Carseldine Markets hosts its annual Winter Wonderland event.
The popular community event will be held on Saturday, 6 June, transforming the markets into a winter-themed destination featuring street food, live entertainment and family activities.
Market Coordinator Mark Power said the Winter Wonderland event “brings together more than 200 local vendors, entertainers, and South-East Queensland’s best foodies to create a vibrant community experience unlike any other”.
“From gourmet street eats to handmade treasures and artisan crafts, there’s something to discover around every corner,” Mark said.
“More than just a market, Carseldine Markets is a place that champions local businesses, nurtures emerging talent, and brings the community together in a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere.
Food, Entertainment and Winter Fun
“Enjoy live entertainment, delicious food, pop-up bar, and a welcoming space where locals and visitors alike can connect, explore, and support all things local.”
The event will also include a children’s disco and family-friendly activities, along with fire pits set up to help visitors stay warm and enjoy the cooler weather.
Organisers are encouraging visitors to come prepared, including bringing dogs on a leash, reusable shopping bags and warm clothing, and suggest attending with friends to make the most of the event.
