The Coral Sea buffet will return to Kedron-Wavell this year, with the popular dining event scheduled to run on four dates.

Tickets went on sale last month, with the first opportunity to experience the Coral Sea 2026 Revival set for Saturday, 23 May.

General Manager Kedron-Wavell Vjorn Bradow said a strong demand from patrons inspired the return of the seafood buffet.

“For many years, guests have been asking when the buffet would make a comeback, as it’s one of the experiences Kedron-Wavell became most well-known for,” Vjorn said. “Bringing it back is a way for us to celebrate that legacy while creating new memories for both long-time locals and first-time visitors.”

Since the buffet was last offered, the club has completed several renovations. Dining will now take place in the club’s Blue Pacific room, while the buffet will be located in the area that once housed the Coral Sea Restaurant.

While the aquarium that previously served as the room’s centrepiece has gone, the club says the focus is now on an expanded buffet designed by its chefs.

Seafood, Carvery and Sweet Indulgences

“Guests can expect a generous spread of indulgent hot and cold seafood, complemented by salads, cold meats, a carvery, pasta, pizza and curries, before finishing with a tempting selection of sweet desserts,” Vjorn said.

The buffet will open for lunch from 11.30am to 2pm and dinner from 6pm to 8pm on Saturday, 23 May, Saturday, 11 July, Saturday, 17 October and Saturday, 19 December.

“The December date is sure to book out well in advance, so we encourage members to get in quick and book tickets,” Vjorn said.

Tickets can be purchased online here or at the concierge desk at Kedron-Wavell.
